The archer, without a doubt the world's most skilled and most dedicated of hunters. Even though the simple stick and string has evolved into a futuristic weapon (compound bow) there are still many traditional archers out there who are keeping the spirit of Robin Hood alive.
The bow and arrow offers the most extreme hunting experience that a person could ask for. The tool requires stealth and skill to even get a shot at game. It takes more patience than any average archer will give. No archer has ever just picked up a bow and became a crack shot. It takes evenings of shooting and honing your skills until the time has come to try and harvest an animal.
There is almost something spiritual about harvesting game with a primitive weapon. You feel closer to the animal and you feel so much more thankful for the experience.
